Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a sharp attack on AAP national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of corruption and misleading the people. Saini declared that Kejriwal's rightful place is in Tihar Jail, not in politics.
"Corrupt Kejriwal has tarnished the land where he was born. His place is not in Haryana but in Tihar jail," Saini posted on X. He also shared a video reiterating his stance, stating that Kejriwal has betrayed the people of Delhi and will be sent to Tihar Jail after February 5.
Saini made these remarks during a rally in Rani Khera, Mundka, in support of BJP candidate Gajender Drall. He accused Kejriwal of spreading false claims that Haryana was poisoning the Yamuna River, arguing that the AAP leader failed to clean the river during his tenure.
"AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal has opened a shop of lies, which will be shut by Delhi voters on February 8," Saini asserted. He dismissed the poisoned Yamuna claims as propaganda, stating that Kejriwal manipulates facts for personal gain.
"When Kejriwal accused Haryana of poisoning the Yamuna, I was also concerned. But I want to tell you, Kejriwal, that you were born on Haryana’s soil, yet you have disgraced it. If you are not loyal to Haryana, how can you be loyal to Delhi?" Saini remarked.
Kejriwal recently claimed that the ammonia level in Yamuna’s water supply to Delhi had reduced from 7 ppm to 2 ppm. This statement came after the Election Commission of India (ECI) issued a notice to him, demanding evidence for his allegations against Haryana.
The Delhi Assembly elections will take place on February 5, with results to be announced on February 8.
