Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure has been marked by sweeping financial reforms and inclusive development policies that have reshaped India’s economic landscape and positioned the country as a global growth leader.
Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, extending greetings on PM Modi’s 75th birthday, credited the Prime Minister’s vision for scripting the “globally resonating India growth story.” He highlighted the philosophy of “Sarvodaya through Antyodaya”—upliftment of all through the upliftment of the weakest—as the guiding principle behind Modi’s policies.
“At no stage in our history since 1947 has so much been achieved in the telescoped time of 11 years, as has been done under the farsighted and transformational guidance of PM Modi,” Puri said. He emphasized that India’s rise as a global economic power is backed by structural reforms in banking, digitization of financial systems, and welfare measures ensuring last-mile delivery to the poorest.
Puri further noted, “We resolutely and firmly continue towards being Viksit Bharat even as there is fundamental transformation within, and in our relations, influence, and impact around the world marked by steady and confident global ascendancy.”
Union Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also praised Modi’s role, stating, “By following the path shown by you, India will prosper, become empowered, and fulfill the resolve of becoming a developed nation by 2047.”
From bold moves like the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and GST rollout, to welfare schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala, and Ayushman Bharat, Modi’s policies have aimed at combining financial discipline with inclusive development.
