Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a voter turnout of 10.22 percent by 9 AM in the second phase of polling, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI). The elections mark a significant moment for the region, as they are being conducted after a decade-long hiatus.

Other districts such as Ganderbal and Budgam reported turnouts of 12.61 percent and 10.91 percent, respectively. In contrast, Srinagar recorded the lowest turnout at 4.70 percent.
