Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik has urged all political parties to refrain from politicizing the ongoing Mahakumbh, responding to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s remark that the grand religious gathering has turned into a "Mrityu Kumbh" (Death Kumbh).
Speaking on the controversy, Malik stated, "We feel that whether it is the ruling party or the opposition, there should be no politics over the Mahakumbh. No one should try to take credit, nor should anyone criticize it."
