Dharamraobaba Aatram is a prominent leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He has been elected multiple times as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Aheri constituency. His political career spans several decades, with notable terms from 1990-1995, 1999-2004, 2004-2009, and from 2019 to the present.
Major Achievements
Cabinet Minister: In 2023, he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister for the Ministry of Food and Drug Administration in Maharashtra under the Eknath Shinde ministry.
Development Projects: Successfully initiated and completed various infrastructure projects in his constituency, improving roads, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.

In the district, there have been complaints about irregularities in various developmental construction projects, with a decline in the quality of work. During a review meeting, it was instructed that if such complaints continue, criminal charges will be filed against the responsible officials and contractors.
A fund of ?3 crore was allocated for the roads in Etapalli Taluka, which was used for renovation and asphalting, these roads were inaugurated. Bhagyashree Tai Atram, along with my colleagues and workers from the taluka, were present at the event.
