Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has strongly condemned Pakistan, calling it a "terrorist country" while asserting that India will not back down in the face of provocation.
Speaking on the ongoing conflict, CM Fadnavis said, “Pakistan is a terrorist country; it has always supported terrorism. However, India will not stop now. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, our army is giving an appropriate response. We are proud of our army.”
The statement comes as the region braces for potential escalation, with Indian forces continuing to respond firmly to threats emanating from Pakistan.
On the precautions being taken in Maharashtra to ensure state security, Fadnavis reassured the public about the readiness of local authorities. “Just yesterday, we held a meeting based on the war book to determine the precautions we should take. We are taking those necessary measures. All district units have been provided with the required information and resources,” he said.
