As Bihar heads toward crucial assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he will interact with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) workers at 6 PM on Thursday as part of the “My Booth Is the Strongest” program.
Highlighting the enthusiasm within the party ranks, PM Modi said BJP and NDA workers are working tirelessly at every level to ensure a resounding victory. “Our workers are steadfast in the field with unprecedented energy and dedication. Their involvement at every stage — from public engagement to booth-level dialogue — is our greatest strength,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
The virtual dialogue is seen as a major morale booster for ground-level party workers, as campaigning intensifies across the state.
Meanwhile, the opposition Mahagathbandhan alliance, comprising the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress, and Left parties, is set to hold a press conference in Patna to finalize its seat-sharing arrangement. Posters featuring RJD leader and Raghopur candidate Tejashwi Yadav have already appeared at the venue, signaling the alliance’s readiness for battle.
Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, who met RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday, asserted that the Mahagathbandhan remains “united and strong.”
Bihar will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, while counting will take place on November 14.
