Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his home state of Gujarat today, September 20, to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹34,200 crore under the ‘Samudra Se Samriddhi’ initiative. The visit highlights Gujarat’s growing role in India’s maritime and infrastructure sectors.
At 10:30 AM, PM Modi will address a public gathering in Bhavnagar, marking the start of his day-long programme. He will then undertake an aerial survey of Dholera and review the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal, a mega project aimed at preserving and showcasing India’s maritime history.
Among the key launches, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal, new LNG infrastructure, and multiple maritime sector projects designed to boost trade, tourism, and connectivity.
