'Public Has Made Up Its Mind For Change': Prashant Kishor Slams Nitish Kumar, Calls For End To Unemployment And Migration In Bihar

Jan Suraaj Abhiyan founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor strongly criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming that recent welfare measures are last-minute attempts to delay the public’s growing desire for political change.

Addressing a rally in Kaimur, Kishor stated, “Nitish Kumar knows that the public has made up its mind for change, which is why he’s suddenly increasing honorariums, pensions, and rolling out domicile policies. These are not reforms — they are political survival tactics.”

The former poll strategist emphasized that real change in Bihar will only come when the public decisively rejects the current political order. “We’ve said this many times — the day people truly decide to change the system, their issues will start getting resolved.”

He pointed to ongoing challenges like mass unemployment, poverty, and forced migration, stating, “Youth are still being driven out of Bihar for jobs. Until migration ends, Bihar will never develop.”

When asked about the controversy surrounding opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav allegedly possessing multiple voter IDs, Kishor downplayed its significance: “Whether Tejashwi has 2 voter IDs or 4, that’s between him and the Election Commission. The public cares about jobs and development, not paperwork.”
