'Rahul Gandhi Always Apologises After 10 Years': Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Launches Scathing Attack Over Congress Legacy

In a fierce political attack, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday lashed out at Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of a repeated pattern of making irresponsible statements and apologizing years later.

Addressing a press gathering, Chouhan said, "Rahul ji understands very late. First, he apologised for the Emergency. Then he apologised for the 1984 Sikh riots. Later, he had to apologise to the OBC community. What did Congress ever do for the OBCs? Their history is full of crushing every meaningful step taken for the welfare of backward classes."

Targeting Gandhi’s past political moves, Chouhan added, "He also apologised for the lies spread during the Rafale deal controversy. And mark my words, whatever he is doing now—be it spreading confusion, misleading the youth, or weakening institutions—he will apologise for that too, ten years from now."

Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s remarks reflect the BJP’s intensified counterattack strategy against Rahul Gandhi’s sharp criticism of the NDA government inside and outside Parliament. Chouhan painted a picture of Congress as a party that “belatedly regrets but never corrects” and slammed the Gandhi family for lacking foresight, clarity, and responsibility.

He also questioned the Congress party’s commitment to backward classes, stating that their track record has been limited to slogans and tokenism. "Rahul Gandhi has become a symbol of delayed wisdom. He never does the right thing at the right time. Every bold step comes with ten years of delay—after the damage is done."
