Social media influencer Rajshree More has approached the Amboli Police Station seeking justice after allegedly being verbally abused and threatened by a youth who claimed to be the son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) state vice president Javed Shaikh. The incident has triggered political reactions and reignited debates around regional identity politics.

Rajshree More, addressing the media outside the police station, said she was targeted not only for being a woman but also for refusing to support what she described as the "Marathi vs non-Marathi" narrative pushed by certain political elements.

“I am thankful to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam for standing by me. Today, I have come to understand what laws protect women in such cases, and how the accused was let off with just a notice,” More said. She added that despite being a Marathi woman, she was harassed for not aligning with divisive political ideologies. “If they can threaten someone like me, imagine the condition of non-Marathi people,” she added, vowing to continue fighting for justice and for the rights of all communities.

She also claimed she was receiving threats urging her not to speak against MNS chief Raj Thackeray. “I have immense respect for Raj Thackeray, but I strongly oppose the divide being created in the name of language and identity,” she stated firmly.
