Indian National Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to a hospital in New Delhi on Tuesday, with her children Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi by her side at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
According to party sources, her hospitalisation is part of a routine medical check-up related to respiratory issues, and there is no immediate cause for concern. The Congress clarified that her condition is stable and she is under observation as a precautionary measure.
This is not the first time she has been admitted to the same hospital, as she had earlier undergone treatment there in January as well.
