Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Friday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the people of Bihar have already rejected his politics and “given a clear answer” through their mandate in the recent Assembly elections.
Speaking to reporters in Bikaner, Meghwal said Rahul Gandhi often makes accusations without backing them up and avoids accountability when challenged by constitutional authorities.
“The people of Bihar have already given a clear answer to Rahul Gandhi,” Meghwal said. “He makes allegations and then runs away. When the Election Commission responds, he doesn’t acknowledge it, and instead tries to defame our constitutional institutions.”
Meghwal accused the Congress leader of attempting to undermine democratic institutions whenever they contradict his claims, adding that such behaviour reflects desperation rather than leadership.
