Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) over its leaders’ remarks following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, questioning their allegiance and accusing them of crossing all limits of appeasement.

“After the Pahalgam terror attack, it has become difficult for us to figure out whether it is really the Samajwadi Party leaders giving out such statements, or is it a spokesperson of Pakistan,” CM Yogi said during a public address.

Referring to the tragic death of Kanpur resident Shubham Dwivedi in the attack, Yogi expressed anger over SP's alleged indifference. “A man from Kanpur, Shubham Dwivedi, was brutally killed in Pahalgam. When a journalist asked Samajwadi Party leaders why they didn't visit Shubham Dwivedi's residence, he said the deceased wasn't a member of their party. This was such a shameful statement,” he added.

Condemning another controversial SP comment, Adityanath said, “Someone from the Samajwadi party even says that the Hindus have killed Hindus.”

Yogi Adityanath accused both SP and Congress of engaging in divisive politics. “Whenever there will be divisive politics, the SP and Congress leaders will cross all limits of appeasement, just like they are doing now.”

Calling for national unity in the fight against terror, the UP CM stated, “The whole nation should unanimously condemn this incident, and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, we should resolve to fight against and put an end to terror... There should be a limit where we rise above our political differences and think about the country and our people.”
