Rishi Sunak Condemns Racial Slur From Reform UK Supporter Who Called Him 'F*ing Paki'

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed his deep hurt and anger after a supporter of Nigel Farage?s right-wing Reform UK party was recorded making a racial slur about him. Sunak, Britain?s first ethnic-minority prime minister, felt compelled to speak out against the incident. The slur was broadcast by Channel 4 News, where a man identified as Andrew Parker referred to Sunak with a derogatory term aimed at people of South Asian descent.

Speaking to reporters on the general election campaign trail, Sunak highlighted the personal impact of the slur, noting that his two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka, had to witness Reform UK activists using the offensive term. ?I don?t repeat those words lightly, I do so deliberately because this is too important not to call out clearly for what it is,? he stated emphatically.

Sunak, born in Southampton in 1980 to Hindu parents of Punjabi Indian descent, addressed the media following the release of the footage showing a campaigner for the far-right Reform UK using the racist slur. The incident forced Nigel Farage, the party?s leader and general election candidate, to condemn the behavior as ?appalling.?

?When you see Reform candidates and campaigners, seemingly using racist and misogynistic language and opinions without challenge, I think it tells you something about the culture within the Reform Party,? Sunak added.

Reform UK is fielding hundreds of candidates in the upcoming July 4 election, primarily campaigning on an anti-immigration platform, with hopes of posing a significant challenge to the incumbent Conservative Party. However, the unexpected timing of the election has prevented the party from thoroughly vetting all its campaigners. This lapse resulted in Andrew Parker being filmed by an undercover reporter from Channel 4, making the offensive remarks.

Farage, despite Reform UK?s likely chances of winning only a handful of seats in the 650-seat House of Commons, aims to secure a foothold and position his party as the ?real? Opposition to a Labour Party government, which is widely anticipated to succeed the Sunak-led Tories after the general election.

In the Channel 4 video, Parker is heard saying, ?I?ve always been a Tory (Conservative) voter but what annoys me is that fucking Paki we?ve got in. What good is he? You tell me, you know. He?s just wet. Fucking useless.?
