Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut launched a scathing attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, alleging that the mastermind behind the brutal murder of Santosh Deshmukh, the Sarpanch of Massajog in Kej Taluka of Beed district, is connected to his cabinet. The murder has sent shockwaves across the state, with opposition leaders demanding immediate action and accountability.

The Case That Shook Beed

Santosh Deshmukh was allegedly kidnapped and murdered, with media reports suggesting that Valmik Karad, a close associate of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) minister Dhananjay Munde was behind this conspiracy. The incident has intensified political tensions, with accusations and counter-accusations dominating public discourse.

Raut's Explosive Allegations

Sanjay Raut didn?t hold back, questioning Fadnavis' leadership and alleging a nexus between criminals and the ruling dispensation. "The picture in Beed is grim. There have been 38 murders in recent years, most of them political activists from the Vanjari community. Urban Naxalism is Devendra Fadnavis' favorite term, but does he and the RSS support it in Beed?" Raut asked in a fiery statement.

He further accused Fadnavis of shielding criminals within his cabinet, saying, ?The real killers of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh are under your protection. Are you ashamed??

Political Turmoil and Rising Crime

Raut also highlighted growing incidents of violence and crime in other parts of the state, including Kalyan and Ambernath. He referenced the recent kidnapping and murder of a minor girl in Kalyan, accusing the administration of failing to protect citizens. "Why are rapists and murderers roaming freely in Beed and Kalyan? Why is Fadnavis silent on these crimes?" Raut questioned.

He criticized the CM for focusing on targeting the opposition rather than addressing law and order. "You are the Chief Minister and Home Minister to protect the people, not to eliminate the opposition," Raut said, urging Fadnavis to act decisively.

Sharp Critique of Dhananjay Munde and Ajit Pawar

Raut didn?t spare NCP leader Dhananjay Munde, alleging his involvement in manipulating elections in Parli. "Voting was not allowed at booth 118 of Parli under gunpoint," Raut claimed. He also accused Munde of shielding criminals responsible for crimes against women in the region.

Calls for Action

Demanding justice, Raut called for the cancellation of gun licenses in Beed, alleging that many were procured illegally. "There are 1,500 licenses, most brought from Bihar. Cancel them immediately to curb violence," he said.
