'Surveys Always Favor The Ruling Party': Congress Leader Vijay Wadettiwar Questions C-Voter Poll Results In Maharashtra

Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Namdevrao Wadettiwar on Sunday criticised the recent C-Voter survey, alleging that opinion polls consistently favour the ruling party. Speaking to the media, Wadettiwar expressed skepticism about the credibility of such surveys and questioned their underlying motivations.

“Whether it is C-Voter or any other survey, they always seem to favor the ruling party. Even Prithviraj Baba had received 42% support at the time. The results are out in the open, but my question is: surveys are often conducted for personal or political gain. I do not trust these surveys at all,” he said.

The Congress leader added that political accountability should not be determined by polls alone. “Now, those in power are supposed to do the work. The people expect results, not just surveys,” Wadettiwar emphasized.
