Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K. Annamalai has made a poignant visit to the residence of late Tamil Nadu BSP President K. Armstrong, who tragically lost his life to a brutal attack near his home in Perambur on July 5th. Annamalai's visit aimed to express condolences and solidarity with Armstrong's grieving family during this difficult time.
Speaking with resolve, Annamalai emphasized the urgency for justice in the wake of Armstrong's murder, highlighting a disturbing trend of 17 similar incidents in Tamil Nadu recently. "We are deeply concerned about the rising violence in the state. Today, our senior BJP leaders are heading to Delhi to meet with the National Human Rights Commission Chairman and other officials," Annamalai stated.
The BJP leader called for a thorough investigation into Armstrong's murder, urging Union Minister Amit Shah to intervene. "We believe that justice must prevail. This case demands immediate attention and transparency," Annamalai asserted.
Expressing skepticism about the state's handling of the investigation, Annamalai suggested, "The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has the authority to transfer this case to the CBI. The DMK government claims transparency, and it is crucial that the truth emerges through a fair investigation."
