‘They Now Hear Bharat Mata Ki Jai When Missiles Hit’: PM Modi’s Warning To Pakistan from Adampur Airbase

In a powerful message delivered at Punjab’s Adampur airbase on Tuesday, May 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its precision and resolve during recent military operations, while issuing a stern warning to Pakistan in the wake of heightened border tensions.

Addressing air warriors, PM Modi said, “Rattled by Operation Sindoor, the enemy attempted to attack this air base and several others repeatedly. They targeted us again and again, but the nefarious designs of Pakistan failed each time.”

The Adampur airbase played a pivotal role in India’s defence during a 100-hour-long escalation last week, neutralising multiple drone and missile threats originating from across the border. The counteroffensive, launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, has been hailed as one of the most decisive in recent years.

“I can proudly say that all of you reached your targets with perfection. In Pakistan, it was not just the terrorist camps and air bases that were destroyed, but also their audacity,” the Prime Minister told personnel, commending the accuracy of India’s strikes during Operation Sindoor.

His remarks carried a strong symbolic undertone, as he added, “The enemies now hear 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' not from slogans, but when our missiles and drones hit their targets.”
