Congress leader Pawan Khera launched a sharp attack on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over its probe into the National Herald case, defending the party’s financial decisions and questioning the agency’s authority to intervene in internal matters.
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Khera said, “We had raised a question that ED cannot question why we hadn't sold properties for loan repayment. We gave the loan interest-free as it was meeting the objectives of publishing a newspaper, and if they cannot pay the loan, who is the ED to ask the question?”
