Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu onaddressed the nation following the release of the preliminary report by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on the AI 171 crash, stating that the ministry is carefully reviewing the findings and working closely with investigators to ensure transparency and accountability.
“This is a preliminary report. At the ministry, we are analysing it in detail. We are coordinating with AAIB to provide any support they need. We hope the final report comes out soon so that we can arrive at some concrete conclusions,” the minister said during a press briefing in New Delhi.
While withholding comments on the possible cause of the crash until the final report is released, Kinjarapu stressed that no compromise would be made in uncovering the full truth.
