Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address from Delhi, hailed the Maha Kumbh as a symbol of India’s grandeur and national awakening, stating that it inspires new achievements and strengthens the collective consciousness of the country.
"I emphasised the importance of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' from the Red Fort. The entire world saw India's grandeur in the form of Maha Kumbh. We witness a national awakening in the Maha Kumbh, which would inspire new achievements… This also gave a befitting reply to those who doubt our strength," PM Modi said.
Referring to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple, Modi asserted that the nation is preparing itself for the next 1,000 years, and this vision was further reinforced during the Maha Kumbh.

"Last year, during the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Temple, we saw how the country was preparing itself for the next 1000 years. This thought was strengthened even more during the Maha Kumbh… The country's collective awakening increased the collective strength," he said.
PM Modi also extended his gratitude to the people of India, Uttar Pradesh, and Prayagraj for making the grand religious gathering a historic success.
"I stand here to speak on Prayagraj's Maha Kumbh. I congratulate crores of countrymen because of whom the Maha Kumbh could be organised successfully. Many people contributed to the success of the Maha Kumbh… I thank the people of India, UP, and Prayagraj," he added.
The Maha Kumbh 2025, set to take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is expected to be one of the largest spiritual gatherings in history, drawing millions of devotees and global attention.
