In his first public reaction following the RJD’s poor performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav offered a gracious message of congratulations to Nitish Kumar, who was sworn in as Chief Minister for an unprecedented tenth term on Wednesday.
Breaking his post-poll silence, Yadav took to X to extend warm wishes to Nitish Kumar and the newly constituted state cabinet.
“Heartfelt congratulations to the respected Shri Nitish Kumar Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Best wishes to all the ministers who joined the Council of Ministers today,” he wrote.
Yadav expressed hope that the new administration would work with sincerity and accountability, ensuring meaningful progress for the state.
“I trust that the new government will meet the expectations of the people, honor its promises, and bring positive, transformative change to the lives of Bihar’s citizens,” he added in Hindi.
