Ahead of the Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that male students in schools and colleges will be provided free bus services if his government is re-elected.

Currently, the AAP government allows women to travel fare-free in all Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses, a move that has been praised for its impact on women's safety and accessibility. Kejriwal now plans to extend this benefit to male students, ensuring affordable and accessible transportation for all.

"Many students, especially from poor families, struggle with transportation costs. By making bus travel free for boys, just as it is for girls, we aim to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder their education," Kejriwal said during the announcement.

This proposed initiative is part of AAP's broader focus on education and welfare and is expected to appeal to families and young voters in the national capital.
