Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed all District Magistrates to launch a rigorous crackdown on illegal immigrants, underscoring that law and order, national security, and social harmony remain the government’s highest priorities. He made it clear that the state will not tolerate any unlawful activity linked to infiltrators.
In a directive issued to district administrations, the Chief Minister ordered officials to identify and verify all foreign nationals residing illegally within their jurisdictions. Once identified, they are to be dealt with strictly as per legal procedures.
To strengthen enforcement, CM Adityanath has mandated the establishment of temporary detention centres in every district. These facilities will hold illegal immigrants until their verification is completed. According to the directive, foreign nationals found staying without valid documentation will remain in these centres until the process is finalized.
