The political battle in Punjab took a legal turn on Friday as Punjab Leader of Opposition (LoP) and senior Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa filed an official complaint against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, accusing them of sharing a "doctored video" on social media platforms.
Bajwa alleged that the video in question, which was shared via the verified Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) handles of both leaders, was manipulated with the intention of misleading the public and maligning opposition figures. “We have submitted the videos related to their Finance Minister, including one of the Chief Minister. Since they posted this content on their official Facebook and Twitter handles, they are responsible for it,” Bajwa stated while speaking to reporters outside the police headquarters.
