Raghopur, the traditional bastion of the Yadav family in Vaishali district, is once again witnessing a tight contest — but early trends place Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav in a comfortable position.
According to the latest counting figures, Tejashwi has taken the lead by over 900 votes, strengthening his hold over the seat that has long been considered his political turf.
During the initial rounds of counting, the RJD leader secured more than 8,000 votes, while his closest competitor, BJP candidate Satish Kumar, garnered over 7,000 votes. The neck-and-neck race reflects a high-intensity battle, but the momentum currently leans in favour of the former Deputy Chief Minister.
