Union Minister Giriraj Singh has delivered a strong and uncompromising message in support of the Rajasthan government’s ongoing anti-encroachment drive, asserting that the administration will not bow to pressure or intimidation, even when illegal structures are located near religious sites such as mosques.
Speaking firmly on the issue, Singh said the Rajasthan government is acting strictly within the framework of law and targeting illegal encroachments without discrimination. He made it clear that proximity to a place of worship would not grant immunity to any unlawful construction.
“The government is working against illegal encroachment. This does not mean that if there is encroachment near a mosque, it will be spared,” Singh said, underlining that the rule of law applies equally to all.
