Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati held a crucial strategy meeting in Lucknow, bringing together party leaders and workers from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh to assess organisational work and prepare for upcoming political challenges.
During her address, Mayawati delivered a strong message stressing unity within the Bahujan community, saying that collective strength is essential to protect identity and secure political power. She warned party workers to remain cautious during the election season and not fall into traps of inducements or short-term benefits, highlighting that such decisions often lead to long-term setbacks after polls.
She also appreciated the efforts of party cadres for celebrating the birth anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on March 15 with enthusiasm and dedication. Calling it a reflection of ideological commitment, she urged workers to continue spreading the party’s core values at the grassroots level.
Looking ahead, Mayawati appealed to party members to mark the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar on April 15 with full commitment, aligning celebrations with the party’s mission of social justice and equality.
Reinforcing the BSP’s political legacy, she stated that the party has proven its governance capabilities by forming the government in Uttar Pradesh four times. She claimed that during its rule, law and order remained strong, and all sections of society were given protection of life, property, and religious freedom. According to her, this record of governance still stands unmatched when compared to other governments.
Mayawati’s meeting is being seen as a significant attempt to energise the party base and strengthen its organisational structure ahead of key electoral battles in multiple states.
