A major security scare unfolded inside the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Monday afternoon when a car breached the premises, triggering panic and raising serious questions over safety protocols.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 2 PM, when a white Ciaz car with a Uttar Pradesh registration number smashed through an iron gate of the Assembly complex. The sudden breach caught security personnel off guard and immediately set off alarm bells.

Eyewitness accounts and reports suggest that the driver, whose face was covered, drove straight towards the office of Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta. In a bizarre move, the man stepped out and placed a flower bouquet near the porch area before quickly retreating from the spot.

In an additional act that has further deepened the mystery, the accused allegedly threw ink on the Speaker’s car before fleeing the scene. His motives remain unclear, and the unusual sequence of actions has left officials puzzled.

Following the incident, a bomb disposal squad was immediately deployed to examine the area and the bouquet for any potential threat. Authorities later confirmed that no explosives or suspicious materials were found inside the bouquet, providing some relief but not reducing the seriousness of the breach.
