India is set to deepen its strategic partnership with the United States as Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri embarks on an official visit from April 8 to 10, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across critical sectors. The high-level trip to Washington DC is part of the ongoing diplomatic dialogue between the two nations and underscores India’s commitment to expanding its global partnerships.

During his visit, Misri is scheduled to meet senior US administration officials to review the full spectrum of India–US ties, including key areas such as economic and trade partnerships, defence and security cooperation, and collaboration in science and technology.
